  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups filtered water (divided)
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Juice the lemons to measure out 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar over medium heat. Stir until fully dissolved, then remove from heat.
  3. In a pitcher, mix the lemon juice and sugar syrup together. Add in the remaining 3 cups of cold water, adjusting to taste.
  4. Lightly muddle the mint leaves and stir them into the pitcher.
  5. Refrigerate for at least one hour to let flavors meld. Serve over ice garnished with additional mint and lemon slices.
