Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1 cup vegan kimchi, chopped
  • 1 cup green cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and warm water until a smooth dough forms. Knead for about 5 minutes until elastic.
  2. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest.
  3. In another bowl, mix kimchi, cabbage, carrots, green onions, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce.
  4. Roll out small pieces of dough into circles (about 3 inches wide).
  5. Place one tablespoon of filling in each circle's center. Fold and pinch edges tightly to seal.
  6. Steam dumplings for 10-15 minutes or pan-fry until golden brown.
