  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and pecans.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly soft.
