Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Blend in softened cream cheese until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Swirl in half of the caramel sauce and sprinkle sea salt flakes into the dough.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop portions onto prepared sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain slightly underbaked.
- Allow to cool slightly before drizzling remaining caramel sauce on top and sprinkling additional sea salt flakes.
