  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  2. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients without overmixing.
  3. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick on a floured surface and cut out donut shapes.
  4. Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry donuts for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
  5. Cool completely before filling with frozen custard using a piping bag.
