Description

Tzatziki sauce is a creamy, refreshing blend of Greek yogurt and cucumbers, perfect for dipping or drizzling on your favorite dishes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumber thoroughly; peel if desired. Grate it finely and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
  2. Mince the garlic cloves using a knife or garlic press.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
