Description

Crockpot Beef and Broccoli is a tender, flavorful dish that combines juicy beef with vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • Beef Chuck Roast
  • Fresh Broccoli
  • Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • Brown Sugar
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Fresh Ginger
  • Beef Broth
  • Cornstarch
  • Sesame Oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef roast into uniform bite-sized cubes and finely chop garlic and ginger.
  2. In a hot skillet, sear the beef cubes until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Transfer the browned beef to the crockpot and add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and broth. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add fresh broccoli florets to the crockpot.
  6. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce to thicken, cooking for another 15 minutes before serving.
