Description

  • 3/4 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Create a well in the dry ingredients and add milk and eggs; stir gently until just combined.
  3. Knead the dough lightly on a floured surface for about 30 seconds.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pot.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).
