- 2 cups powdered sugar

- 2 tbsp heavy cream or milk
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- 2. In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- 3. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract until well mixed.
- 4. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture alternately with milk.
- 5. Fill liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- 6. For frosting, whip together unsalted butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add cream and vanilla to reach desired consistency.
- 7. Once cooled, frost each cupcake generously.
