Ingredients
- Ground beef or lamb
- Breadcrumbs
- Fresh parsley
- Eggs
- Garlic powder
- Marinara sauce
- Sub rolls
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, parsley, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned.
- While baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan. Once meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice sub rolls open lengthwise. Fill each roll with several meatballs and sauce.
- Top generously with shredded mozzarella cheese and broil for a few minutes or let sit until melted.
- Serve hot with side chips or salad.
