Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Brown sugar
  • Granulated sugar
  • Unsalted butter
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Baking soda
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat melted butter with brown and granulated sugars until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is glossy.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients without over-mixing.
  6. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, add dollops of cookie dough on top, then pour remaining brownie batter over it.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are set but the center is slightly gooey. Allow to cool before slicing.
