Ingredients

  • Unsalted Butter
  • Brown Sugar
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Eggs
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Cream Cheese
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Lemon Juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened butter with brown and granulated sugars until fluffy. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  3. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just blended. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  4. For the cheesecake filling, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Add lemon juice if desired.
  5. On a baking sheet, scoop cookie dough and create an indentation to fill with cheesecake mixture. Cover with more dough.
